Beginning next to the Church of the Lombada, Levada do Moinho traces a sometimes difficult course along the left slope of the stream of the Ponta do Sol. The Marmulanos appear at the beginning along with some Barbusanos that look over the deep valley of the river of Ponta do Sol. The Pau Branco also appears along the levada accompanied by other elements characteristic of the native forest of Madeira. We can also observe the excellent landscapes that can be obtained from this levada, standing out the interesting structure of the valley next to the mouth of the river. At the end of this levada, on the right bank of the river, we await a beautiful waterfall with its freshness and purity and access to Levada Nova da Lombada. Levada Nova da Lombada "cuts" one of the slopes of the Ponta do Sol stream valley, just above Levada do Moinho, 400 meters above sea level, and before the tunnel awaits a small waterfall framed by volcanic tufts sculpted by water, under which passes the levada.
